What is PhiloLogic?
PhiloLogic™ is the ARTFL Project's our primary full-text search, retrieval and analysis tool.

- Completely rewritten collocations with better performance (1.5x) and a LOT of new functionality:
- Search within n words
- Compare collocation distributions based on count and z-score difference.
- Find most similar collocation distribution based on metadata (e.g. finding authors with most similar collocation distribution)
- Collocations over time
- Concordance searching with ordering optional
- Revamped Web UI, and compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards
PhiloLogic 4.7 release notes:
New features include:
- New aggregation report
- New metadata stats in search results
- Results bibliography in concordance and KWIC results.
- Significant speed-ups for collocations, sorted KWICs, Faceted browsing (frequencies), landing page browsing
- Export results to CSV
- New generic dictionary lookup code
- Support for date searching
